Orange Grove in Robertson

Orange Grove offers self-catering chalets on a working wine and olive farm. Each chalet has a private veranda, a plunge pool, and views of the mountains and vineyards. The Delport cottage includes two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an indoor fireplace, and a covered braai. The Superior Two-Bedroom Cottage with Mountain View also has a splash pool on the veranda. All chalets have a fully equipped kitchen, including a Nespresso machine and dishwasher, plus a fireplace and BBQ facilities. Each unit has air conditioning, electric blankets, and a smart TV with DSTV and Netflix. Bathrooms feature 1812 bath products and heated floors.

Guests can order breakfast, picnic, and braai baskets delivered to their cottage. Breakfast baskets include freshly baked farm bread, cones, and other treats. The braai basket comes with wood and firelighters, plus high-quality meats like rump steak. Lunch picnic baskets have enough food for two days' worth of meals. All baskets are delivered in charming picnic baskets by staff. There is no onsite restaurant, but the farm shop sells wine and other items.

Each chalet has its own private plunge pool or splash pool on the veranda, with sun loungers and chairs. The farm has several hiking and walking trails, including a guided hike to 11 waterfalls and rock pools where you can swim. Guests can also go cycling on the farm's cycle paths, and bicycle rental is available. For relaxation, spa treatments can be arranged in the privacy of your chalet. There is also an outdoor swimming pool open all year.

Orange Grove is located on a working farm in Robertson Valley, 10 km from Robertson town and a 2-hour drive from Cape Town. The farm is set among vineyards, olive groves, and mountains. The property has a 1-2 km gravel road from the highway. The nearest grocery store is a 20-minute drive away. Shuttle service is available, and staff can arrange guided hikes and tours. The Robertson wine route is within easy driving distance.

Services include daily housekeeping (except weekends), laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing. Concierge assists with bookings for guided hikes and local wineries.
